Win the Gay Wedding of Your Dreams!

This is big. Really big. & is coordinating a special package for the silent auction at the 9th Annual Human Rights Campaign (HRC) National Dinner on October 1 in Washington, D.C.
All you have to do is buy a ticket to attend the event and then bid early and bid often to win the Gay Wedding of Your Dreams. As of this writing, the package is valued at $12,000 (about halfway to the average cost of a typical wedding these days!). Best of all, the proceeds raised in the auction will go to support HRC’s fight for marriage equality.
Check out the current teaser on their site.
Yes, that’s right! You’ll get some great wedding services and products including platinum rings, invitations, a wedding web site, the event space, a videographer, an engagement portrait, a wedding photographer and more (see below for more details) and HRC will receive much needed financial support to do the excellent work they are doing. It’s a win-win for all involved.
In the next day or so, I’ll be posting links to the information about the elements donated for this package and the restrictions & guidelines for the winner. In the meantime, I’m listing the vendors who are donating services/products and what will be included in the package to whet your nuptial appetite.
Please spread the word about this great package and tell your engaged friends — straight allies, glowing grooms and blushing brides alike — to make arrangements to bid. And, of course, you can always contact me if you have questions.
